Why Is It That People Try To Hide Things, And Lie, When They
Answer:
Well, this is merely my opinion, but....for what it's worth I will answer your question. First of all, it is human nature to hide things that we may not like about ourselves or things we "think" others might not like in or about us, and to lie as well. Often people get so caught up in telling lies they often forget that there is a difference in telling "A Lie" and being a "Liar". Because as humans, we are imperfect, therefore making it our nature to tell an occasional lie, to get out of trouble for example. But when lying becomes constant, it then goes from telling a lie, to be a liar. Now, to answer the second part of your question, usually when someone is quick to point out these flaws or any other flaw for that matter, it is usually to distract attention from themselves. They figure if they point out that so and so is doing it then the focus and attn. Will be on the other person and not them. Sorry for such a long answer, but there it is. Hope it helped!
